The Cedar Valley Association of Soft Trails is a 501(c)3 that assists in the maintenance and creation of the soft trails found throughout the Cedar Valley. CVAST also works to educate the public about these trails and increase their use through events. The George Wyth Mountain Bike Race is the main event hosted by CVAST. As a part of the Iowa Mountain Bike Championship Series, this race draws in participants from across the state. Taking place in the beautiful, and centrally located, George Wyth State Park, racers and their families can easily enjoy the restaurants and retail found in the nearby downtowns of Cedar Falls and Waterloo.

Families can enjoy all the experiences of camping and the great outdoors, but still be within arms reach of shopping, dining, and the city’s entertainment. To check out everything George Wyth State Park has to offer and to reserve a campsite visit, http://www.iowadnr.gov/Destinations/StateParksRecAreas/IowasStateParks/ParkDetails.aspx?ParkID=610125&
